2002-06-26----6:59 p.m. I've always been very proud of my ability to remain a child, and act like an adult, no matter what anyone says about it. I've lost girlfriends due to the fact that they didn't think I was mature enough. Never mind that I held a full time job, paid bills, and dealt with "big boy" problems, it was my toy collection and addiction to video games and old horror movie posters that put me in with the teenagers in their minds. Better off without them, far as I am concerned. If you can't wrap yourself in the things that make you happy, however "childish" they may be, what the hell is the point of acting like an adult? Remember when 3 months of summer seemed to go on for about 10 years? It doesn't do that anymore, and digging holes in the mud with a stick you found isn't as fun anymore, but DAMNED if I didn't jump up and down on my bed 2 days ago. (It’s a waterbed, so it didn't work as well) So I try not to listen to people who tell me that I should have "grown out of this stuff by now"
