I've reached that comfortable mediocre spot where things aren't as boring as they could be, but certainly not as exciting. No dramatics, and no deep silences. Just calm.

Makes me smile.

Calm before the storm most likely. That's usually the way it works out. Just when you start to think that the world has forgotten about you and you could probably get some reading done or take a nice long nap, life sets your pants leg on fire like the neighborhood menace in some saturday morning cartoon show.
