2003-05-04---9:46 p.m. The question that just popped into my head is resemblant of a radio DJ with an annoyingly nasal voice. Something that you just know is going to stick, rolling around in your brain like gravel in a blender until all you can do is mumble and drool on yourself as strangers plop dirt-covered loose change into your big gulp cup on their way past. It ran thusly: Why is it that people seem to need something chaotic to happen to them in order to experience life? Do you need a vermin-ridden crack addict to smash you in the face with a cinder block for no reason in order for you to understand that "This is all really happening"? Thats why I have the tattoo that I do. Chaos is the big eye opener. It makes people shake off the mental wool and take stock of the world around them. So there. In other news, home is what catches you when you fall... and we all fall eventually. Hopefully I've gotten my act together because I am about to be working without a net, metaphorically speaking.
